Remember—a Child’s Behavior is not Always What it Seems.

What we see is behavior; what we don’t see are the possible underlying struggles preventing the child from meeting expectations. These may include unmet basic needs (sleep, hunger, need for attention, security, etc.), self-esteem issues, heightened emotions, developmental level, executive-function abilities, sensory needs, and/or undiagnosed disabilities. This guide will help you discover your child’s strengths and weaknesses. Its focus is on his/her abilities, not entirely on diagnosis.

On the Road to Handwriting Success is the ultimate resource for therapists, teachers, and parents. In it, you will find tips, strategies, suggestions, and information to minimize and understand undesirable behavior(s), below grade level performance and to support handwriting and learning development in children.
