Dr. Leibovich - Mankes
as a Certified Parent Coach

I’ve enjoyed working with children and their families as long as I can remember.

As an Occupational Therapist and Parent Educator for the past 20 years, I feel strongly about working as a team to develop a healthy and conducive environment of growth for children with developmental delays, learning differences and/or diagnosed learning disability(ies). I love to educate and encourage collaboration with teachers and parents to support each individual child’s needs. Teacher and parental encouragement is of the outmost importance in providing any child with a feeling of confidence and ability to reach their unique and full potential at home, socially and at school.

Sometimes feeling understood, is more important than feeling loved.

I, Dr. carol Leibovich – Mankes am able to help facilitate any necessary accommodations and develop effective strategies for parenting and improve child engagement in the classroom environment. If your child has been diagnosed with a learning disability and/or presents with significant difficulties in the classroom and/or home, contact Dr Carol Leibovich – Mankes for further information, guidance and/or support for you and your child.

Peaceful and supportive parents, bring up happy and resilient kids

Dr. Leibovich - Mankes
as an Occupational Therapist

Being a Pediatric Occupational Therapist further provides me with the professional capacity to help a child develop the skills required to reach their full potential at school and home.

As an Occupational Therapist I am able to strengthen the development of fine motor skills, sensory motor skills, visual motor skills, visual perceptual skills, social skills, organizational skills, self regulation, attention and sensory processing that children need to function and socialize.

Providing children with these tools facilitates their growth, self sufficiency and provides them with the opportunity to reach their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.

I am happy to say that for the past 20 years I’ve had the privilege to be part of the evaluation and treatment team of children who struggled with developmental delays, academic concerns, social and emotional difficulties and witnessed them grow into wonderful and self assured kids and adults.
